Historic Portland Kitchen
This kitchen was previously a dull and dreary relic of the 80's. Everything we chose to do was bright and cheerful in order to transform it into a space in which people actually want to spend their time. The walls were covered in a small reflective white tile that helps reflect the light of the several oversized ceiling lights. The blue adds a feeling of happiness on Portland's otherwise rainy days. We also repositions the refrigerator and closed off a door to the basement to add room for a table in the kitchen. We are told this is now the most used room in the house.
